battlestar breakfast
after the shower, i got some food out of the car and went into the trucker's lounge to watch some tv. holy shit! a battlestar galactica (original series) marathon is on. only one of my favoritist, cheesiest shows ever. so, i'm eating some new! yogurt burst cheerios cereal out of a plastic q-tip container while watching battlestar galactica with a half-asleep trucker who keeps laughing at the really really really corny jokes - the best and only way to start the day!

Greetings from Appalachian State University Art Department Past 2000. I've been keeping up with your travels and want you to know I am really excited about what you are doing! I sense that you are experiencing a particular sort of freedom right now that most will never know. You are thoughtful to record it, so that your readers may live vicariously through. Soak in every minute.
Likewise, I've enjoyed your email updates from Boone over the years. You are still the studious Jamie I remember, what with all this writing, blogging, formatting and without your own laptop! I am awaiting the next installment, so by all means keep up the great work.
I do hope your itinerary can accomodate a lengthy visit to Northern California. There are many things here you should see! Your personal tour guides and 5-star innkeepers (Dave and Jessica) await a meaningful reunion with lots of showers. Ha ha, probably not all at the same time!
