A Candidate For Living is the story of my life on the road since 9/15/05. this website was created, and is updated, from the road, at various locations throughout the country where computers with free internet access are available - primarily public libraries and universities. i do not own a laptop. therefore, updates and design changes are infrequent but done as possible. this work in progress is funded primarily thru a credit card, and the kindness of friends and strangers alike via donations.
alright! a bar! just sit down and get myself a beer... or two... or more... oh, look an animal head! haven't seen those everywhere in these parts - actually, suprisingly, i haven't. not a one. i have noticed a lot of birds though; and a lot of bird-kill as a result. big birds too - these thick, meaty, flesh-eating looking things. maybe that's why they were run over...
My, my, my. You seem to be having a really good time. Fargo, jeez, one of my favorite movies, especially the end with the wood chipper. All is quiet in the NE, the autumn colors are just starting to peak and the temps are dropping into the 30's at night. Of course I have a water bed to keep me warm. An ideal vacation for me though is sleeping under the stars and waking in a warm sleeping bag to the sounds of nature. I don't appreciate skunks sniffing around my barely visible face, but only the dog has been sprayed, so far. Keep safe. Love you.
