spent last nite in the back of the car on a residential street in lawrence, two blocks off the downtown strip. was hot and lots of people were around making it pretty uncomfortable. woke up and tried to go to this internet cafe i had gone to the nite before. 24 hr place with free internet access. used it for two hours last nite. this morning they're now asking for 10 cents a minute. fuck that. split town right then and went back to columbia, mo. amy hold told me she would be there to see Wilco. apparently, they're big shit in missouri, and columbia in particular. maybe i'll run into her there. why not? off to columbia. get some cocaine and coffee.
