hide and seek

spotted amy pretty early on. i was eating dinner in a restaurant, looking out the window, watching all the concert goers piling in. saw her walk by. i had thought about going after her but figured i should just finish eating, we'd eventually run into each other. and so we did. she said she had seen my car in town and knew i was here somewhere. introduced me to her friend jessica. told them i had gone to lawrence and didn't really like it there, so decided to come back. was too hungover and tired to really enjoy lawrence. same tonite. not hungover, just too tired to enjoy it really. but, i gave amy a hug and then she was off to the bathroom, never to be seen or heard from again. i didn't really want to talk or anything really--i don't think i was capable of it. just wanted to see her. just wanted to make sure i hadn't just dreamt i had met her, or kelly, or all of it. that i haven't been dreaming everyday away. that was it.
